As President and CEO, Douglas Gray provides the overall leadership and strategic direction of the company’s development projects and services for Eclipse Development Group. Mr. Gray ensures that financial and operational objectives for each project are met. He is responsible for all site acquisition and planning, development services, civic relationships, entitlements and major tenant negotiations.
Mr. Gray formed Eclipse Development Group in 2002. Before that he helped a regional industrial/apartment developer form a retail division from which he retired from as President. Prior to that he was a partner and top ranked performer at Sperry Van Ness, specializing in the disposition of retail centers. In the 1980’s he also developed small retail neighborhood centers before moving on to the larger regional centers in the 1990’s. He has consulted and led the development of major retail developments, all of which became enduring assets to their communities which became great assets to the companies’ clients and partners.
Mr. Gray obtained a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Real Estate/Finance. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and other major trade organizations.
